Hollyhock Supports Rotary Club of Ashland
Hollyhock Studio participated in a fundraiser held at Camelot Theatre last fall to support the Rotary Club of Ashland. The evening was a great success - everyone enjoyed good conversations, fantastic food and wine, and the opportunity to participate in raffle baskets and a live auction. The evening culminated with a performance of The Manchurian Candidate and amazing desserts.
One of the auction items was a watercolor workshop that was offered by Hollyhock Studio. Eight bidders will participate in a daylong workshop on Saturday, April 30th that includes morning goodies, a gourmet lunch and five hours of instruction from Kim Faucher. Kim is a local watercolorist and highly accomplished teacher who is known for her varied approaches to the medium. The workshop will be structured for beginning students who need bring only their enthusiasm as all materials will be supplied.
